      The lead designer and popular concept artist Yoshitaka Amano did more than a great job in designing the character, enemy, and , environment illustrations for Final Fantasy 9. Amano has worked on several  projects in the past and he has even won awards for his work. He is also considered to be adept at making character designs, illustrations, and paintings.
